Prof. Dr. Gabriele Tonni works as a Senior Registrar in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Istituto di Ricerca a Carattere Clinico-Scientifico, AUSL di Reggio, Emilia, Italy. He was a guest editor of the Special Issue "State of the Art in Fetal Surgery: Past, Present and Future Perspectives" published under MDPI and is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, Wiley. He also served as editor of "Prenatal Diagnosis of Orofacial Malformations", "3D Physical and Virtual Models in Fetal Medicine" and "3D Ultrsound of Fetal Heart" published under Springer in 2023 and 2025". His research interests mainly focus on prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, high-risk pregnancy, intrapartum fetal asphyxia, and perinatal outcomes. His scientific output includes 260 publications, corresponding to 4508 citations (h-index 37) (Google Scholar, July 2026).

Dr. Marzena Laskowska

Title: Clinical Evaluation and Management of Postpartum Hemorrhage.
Marzena Laskowska, upon graduation in 1992 with honours from the Faculty of Medicine in the Medical University School in Lublin, Poland, through a competition, has got a job in the Chair and Department of Obstetrics and Perinatology at the Medical University in Lublin. At the same time, she began working at the University Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Lublin, where she currently serves as a lecturer and senior assistant in the perinatology, obstetrics, and delivery room wards. She participates in research, gives lectures for the students, and for physicians specializing in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. Since 2007, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Perinatology Medical University in Lublin, Poland. In 2001, she obtained her Ph.D. degree from the University of Lublin. In 2012, she received habilitation based on her habilitation thesis “The importance of some vasoactive factors and metalloproteinases in aetiopathogenesis of severe preeclampsia and/or intrauterine foetal growth restriction”. In the meantime, she obtained the first-degree specialization in obstetrics and gynaecology (1996), and in 1999, after passing the exams required for the second-degree specialization in obstetrics & gynaecology, received a specialist title in obstetrics and gynaecology. In 2015 obtained a specialization in perinatology. In 1998, she obtained a month-long internship at the International Postgraduate Training in Advanced Techniques for Reproductive Health/Family Planning as a fellow of UNFPA and a conference scholarship from the Foundation for Polish Science for the presentation of the results of her research at the Congress in Melbourne. She is a researcher and lecturer at the Medical University of Lublin and the author of numerous scientific publications in renowned, impactful scientific journals. She has presented the results of her work at scientific congresses in Melbourne (Australia), Montreal (Canada), Vienna (Austria), , in Prague (Czech Republic) and in Greece, and Hungary, among others. As part of the Erasmus+ program, she has lectured to students at the Medical University of Prague (Czech Republic) and Vives University in Kortrijk (Belgium). She attended and completed the requirements for the Salzburg Columbia University Seminar in Maternal & Infant Health and Obstetrics & Gynaecology Reproductive Medicine. She was working as an expert/evaluator for the selection of proposals submitted to the EU call.
